¶ Discount rules
On the Sales Price Rules page, the Show Discount Rules action can be used to view or define how discounts on sales documents are found and calculated.
The following fields are filled in on the Sales Price Rule Lines page:
- Price Type – value
Discount. This value is pre-filled. - Sales Price Source Type – in this field the value is selected from the list: All Customers, Customer, Customer Price Group, Customer Disc. Group, Campaign, Contact.
- Price Asset Type – in this field the value is selected from the list: All, Item, Item Discount Group, Resource, Resource Group, Service Cost, G/L Account, Item Category.
The valid sales discount is found in the price lists for the combination entered on the sales price rule line Sales Price Source Type and Price Asset Type.
