¶ Surcharge rules
On the Sales Price Rules page, the Show Surcharge Rules action can be used to view or define how discounts on sales documents are found and calculated.
The following fields are filled in on the page Sales price rule lines:
- Price Type – value
Surcharge. This value is pre-filled. - Sales Price Source Type – in this field the value is selected from the list: All Customers, Customer, Customer Price Group, Customer Disc. Group, Campaign, Contact.
- Price Asset Type – In this field, a value is selected from the list: All, Item, Item Discount Group, Resource, Resource Group, Service Cost, G/L Accounting, Item Category.
The valid sales surcharge is found in the price lists for the combination entered in the sales price rule line Sales Price Source Type and Price Asset Type.
